A pre-owned Takeharu 1970s Vintage Bass.

An exceedingly rare instrument. Made in Japan in the mid 1970s by the Kiso Suzuki Violin company in collaboration with Japanese film composer Yamamoto Takeharu. The body material is unknown, possibly Mahogany. The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Also features a pickup selector switch.
The bass is extremely well balanced in tone, with rich consistent low register and a warmth and clarity across the mid to high registers. Feels very comfortable to play and would suit any genre of music due to its clear, consistent robust and versatile tone.

Is in very good condition considering its potentially 50 year age, but does bear some cosmetic signs of wear and tear from previous use. Is in full working order.
