This is a second hand Super Pennsylvania soprano saxophone in full working order. Super Pennsylvania saxophones were stencil horns made by Yanagisawa for Selmer. The horn features the distinctive Selmer 'S' under the words 'Super Pennsylvania' on the bell. This horn has a very focused, warm, and mellow tone.

 

 As a second hand instrument, this saxophone shows a few signs of use in terms of minor scratches and general wear but overall, this saxophone is very tidy. It was repadded several years ago and then put into storage by a collector without having been played very much. The pads aren't super fresh but they are sealing well. Mechanically, this horn feels very good under the fingers.

 

This saxophone comes in a wooden hardshell case in full working order. It is not supplied with a mouthpiece.
