This is a pair of mid 70’s Selmer Series 9 clarinets in full working order. The Bb dates to 1976 and the A clarinet dates to 1975. The Series 9 was a model that was marketed as a large/wide bore clarinet for jazz and popular music but the clarinets could certainly be used in a wide variety of settings. 

These clarinets have been fitted with black Pisoni pads, which are a synthetic pad that is highly resistant to moisture, which makes them stay in regulation much longer. These clarinets are in fantastic shape with no damage or other issues to the wood. They are free from cracks.

These clarinets have had Kooiman thumb rests installed in the past so they have two extra holes drilled near the thumbrests. They come with the original thumbrests fitted.

These clarinets come with a Vandoren B45 mouthpiece that is in full working order, as well as a double case that has seen some miles but is fully functional and keeps the clarinets safe.
