This is a very unique and interesting hybrid of a 5-string banjo and a mandola, known as a banjola. This instrument was made by Ozark and is in excellent, fully working second hand condition. The banjola is played like a five string banjo, though it has a more mellow sound owing to the fact that it is a mandola body creating the sound, rather than a banjo head. This banjola comes with a 5th string capo installed, allowing the player to slide the capo into different positions on the fifth string.
