This is a second hand 18'' Bodhran by Nicholas Driver in full working order. Nicholas Driver literally wrote the book on how to play the bodhran and as such, this is a very good quality bodhran. This one has a genuine goat skin head that produces a lovely deep sound. It has a lot of life left in it and is in great playing shape. This is a second hand instrument and as such shows a few signs of use but these are cosmetic in nature and very minor. Frankly, they add to the charm of this beautiful drum. This bodhran has an 'X' bracing pattern.

 

This bodhran comes with four tippers / beaters that are all of different shapes and will produce different tones. They are all in fully working order. This bodhran also comes with a lightweight, thin profile metal case that is great for travel or for storing the bodhran when it isn't being played.
