This is a second hand Muzikkon DH12-11 hammered dulcimer in full working order. This is a 12/11 hammered dulcimer, meaning it has 12 courses of strings on the treble (left) side bridge and 11 courses of strings on the bass (right) side bridge. Each course consists of two strings. The body and bridges are made from rosewood and the soundboard is made from birch. The saddles are colour coded to make playing / learning easier.

 

This dulcimer has had one previous owner who bought it and never really took it up so the dulcimer has basically sat unplayed for most of its life. As a second hand instrument it shows a few very minor signs of use in terms of scuffs and minor wear to the gig bag but this is purely cosmetic, very minor in nature, and doesn't affect the instrument. This is a great hammered dulcimer that is ready to play out of the bag and will last a long time.

 

This dulcimer comes with a padded gig bag, a pair of rosewood hammers, a tuning key, extra strings, and a tuning guide, all of which are in full working order.
