This is a second hand Lachenal concertina in nearly full working order. It is a 30-button, Anglo concertina with six bellow folds. We’re listing this as being nearly in full working order as there are a few notes that don’t sound 100% as they should. In general, the majority of the notes sound as they should and their pitch is good. 

This concertina has had the wrist straps replaced recently and the bellows appear to have been replaced recently as they are looking quite new and are quite airtight. The concertina comes with its original hexagonal wooden case. 

Mechanically speaking, everything is working the way it should and the keys are smooth and quick. The concertina has good projection and most notes are sounding very pure with the exception of the few that can be heard in the video. This is an older, second hand instrument and shows some signs of wear but these are purely cosmetic and do not affect the playability of the instrument. The bellows and wriststraps have been replaced and are in fine working order.

This concertina comes with its original wooden case, which is in full working order. Both latch clasps are working. The key to the lock has unfortunately been lost. The strap on the top of the case is not original and the lop layer of wood on the top of the box is cracked but still firmly attached to the layer underneath. This case will protect the concertina just fine.
