Heritage H-5 Mandolin
Heritage H-5 Mandolin
This is a Heritage H-5 mandolin in excellent playing condition. Heritage mandolins were made in Kalamazoo by former Gibson employees who purchased the 225 Parsons Street factory and equipment when Gibson shuttered that facility. These mandolins are extrememly rare and of very high quality.
This mandolin was made in 1985 and features a 2-pointed F-style body with traditional scroll. It has a solid carved spruce top and solid two-piece flame maple back and sides. This is a highly decorative mandolin with cream coloured binding and hummingbird in-lay on the headstock.
This mandolin is fitted with a pickup and it is ready to be played. This is a fantastic player with comfortable, fast action and a clear, sweet sound.
