New to the Epiphone studio collection, the J-45 Studio is inspire by iconic Gibson designs at an affordable price. With a design inspired by the classic Gibson J-45 "Workhorse" the J-45 Studio has a sloped shoulder body and 25.5" scale length, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. The J-45 Studio offers a blend of classic design and modern functionality and was designed to appeal equally to beginners and seasoned players alike. Delivering a warm and rich tone with exceptional clarity.

Visually, the J-45 studio has a beautiful solid sitka spruce top, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that will sound even better as it ages. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail neck-to-body joint and features a SlimTaper D-Shape profile that ensures comfortable playability. The neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard equipped with 20 medium/jumbo frets and dressed up with simple pearloid dot inlays. We also included other details that give the J-45 Studio even more vintage-style visual appeal, including a teardrop-shaped Simulated Tortoise with metal "E." Built with Fishman Presys-II electronics, this guitar is ready for gigging, just plug in and go.
