This is a second hand Besson Sovereign 928 in silver. This cornet is in full working order with all slides and valves moving freely and easily. This cornet features triggers for both the 1st and 3rd valves. This cornet comes with two mouthpieces, a Besson 7c and a Holton Collegiate. Based on the serial number (738,xxx), this cornet is believed to be from the early 80's and is in fantastic condition.

 

 As a second hand instrument it shows a few signs of use but these are minor and purely cosmetic. The corner has two very small dings near where the beel meets the brace that connects it to the lead pipe. These do not affect the way the cornet plays and are purely cosmetic. All valves and slides move freely and easily on this cornet and it is ready to play out of the case.

 

This cornet comes with a Besson case that is not its original but is very lightweight and protects the cornet well.
