This is a fantastic, handmade Cittern in fully working second hand condition. This cittern was made by David Freshwater in Scottland. The instrument features five courses of two strings and is built to very high standards. This instrument sounds great and feels very solid when playing it. The action is comfortable and low. This is a second hand instrument and it has a few dings and signs of use but nothing that will affect the playability of the instument. The cover to the tailpiece is also missing but this does not affect how the instrument plays or sounds. This cittern is a beautiful piece of crafstmanship hand built in Scotland. It was made in 1997.
