This is an ultra rare 1967 Selmer Mark VI Low A alto saxophone in great playing shape. According to Selmer Paris, only 864 low A altos were ever manufactured, making these horns very hard to come by. This horn has all of the tone and feel you'd expect from a Mark VI, with a bit of extra bell length and one more key, opening up new sonic possibilities.

As a second hand instrument, this saxophone shows some signs of use in terms of lacquer wear, scratches, and minor dings but these are purely cosmetic and do not affect the instrument's playability. This saxophone plays great and easily speaks down to low A. It has been repadded with a complete set of new pads and everything is sealing great. This saxophone is a real player and will be ready to gig out of the box.

This saxophone comes with a case in full working order. This saxophone is not supplied with a mouthpiece.

This saxophone, along with our entire collection of vintage saxophones and mouthpieces is available in shop.
