This is a 1966 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone in fully working order. This saxophone was repadded by Steve Crow a few years ago and then put into storage and has not really been played since. As such, it is in fantastic playing shape and absolutely ready to play out of the case. This horn has seen a good amount of use in the past and as a result the silver plating has worn through in several places. This is of course cosmetic in nature and adds to the charm of a vintage horn. The action is smooth and quick on this tenor and everything is feeling good under the fingers. This horn is a real player.

This saxophone comes with a non-original Selmer case that is a bit stained by fully working.

Please note, this saxophone is not supplied with a mouthpiece.

This saxophone, along with our entire range of vintage horns and mouthpieces is available for play test in store. We welcome in-store trials and are always open to trades. Give us a call on 0161 273 1000 if you have any questions about this horn.
