This is a 1954 Selmer Super Balanced Action (sn. 53,xxx) tenor saxophone in silver. This is a legendary horn from the mid fifties and has all of the tone and character one would expect from a vintage Selmer. This horn has an older set of pads and though it does play, will probably want a service soon. This horn has not had any significant damage but does have a few minor dents, which are visible in the photos.

This saxophone comes with a wooden hard case in full working order but does not come with a mouthpiece.

This saxophone, along with our entire collection of vintage saxophones and mouthpieces, is available for play test / inspection in shop. If you have any questions about this horn please give us a call on 0161 273 1000.
