This is a 1937 Selmer Balanced Action alto saxophone in full working order. This saxophone has all of the brilliant, singing quality you'd expect from a Balanced Action and a real lightness about it. THis saxophone is either in its original lacquer or it's the best relacquer we've ever seen. The serial numbers are sharp on the edges and complete detail in the engraving is visible. This is truly a beautiful vintage saxophone.

The pads on this saxophone are sealing well and it is ready to play out of the case. Mechanically, everything is working as it should and this saxophone should have a long life ahead of it.
