This 1937 Conn 10M tenor saxophone is the real deal. It's a vintage horn that's never had any damage and is in full working order with a new set of pads. You can take this horn out of the box and take it to your gig tonight.

 

This horn is a great player with a massive and very warm sound. As a second hand vintage saxophone it shows signs of use in terms of lacquer wear, scratches, and minor dings, but these are purely cosmetic and really only add to the charm of this great vintage horn. This horn has had a new set of pads recently and everything is sealing well. This horn whispers down to low Bb and will absolutely bark if you push it. Mechanically everything is sound and the keywork is quick and smooth and feels good under the fingers.

 

This tenor has had the strap hook lowered 2-3 inches from its original position, which makes the balance of the horn much more comfortable and eliminates the tendency for the mouthpiece to lean into you if you're not holding onto the horn with both hands.

 

This saxophone is not supplied with a mouthpiece but does come with Hiscox Liteflite case in fully working order.
