1933 Selmer ''Cigar Cutter'' Tenor Saxophone
1933 Selmer ''Cigar Cutter'' Tenor Saxophone
This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on a freshly overhauled, very clean Selmer Cigar Cutter tenor saxophone. This instrument is from 1933 and is in incredible condition. It has recently been overhauled by John Clark at the Woodwind Workshop in Manchester. The saxophone has a fresh set of black Roo pads and everything is sealing perfectly. This horn is a real player and would be well suited to someone interested in early swing / Lester Young / Ben Webster type players.
This horn is mechanically sound and free from any significant dents or damage. It shows it's age in a few places, mostly in terms of minor dings, light scratches, and a small amount of wear in the plating. This saxophone is very tidy and has not been played much, considering its age. This saxophone does not come with a mouthpiece but does come with a Hiscox Liteflite case.
Please contact the shop on 0161 273 1000 if you have any questions regarding this saxophone. Please feel free to stop by and try it as well.
