This is a 1933 Selmer Cigar Cutter alto saxophone that we are selling 'for parts or not working' because it needs a repad to be considered fully working. The saxophone will play, but the pads are knackered and it is a struggle. Mechanically it is sound with all keys moving comfortably and smoothly but there are a few felts and corks missing. The body of this horn is in very good shape for a horn of nearly 100 years old. It is remarkably free from damage, dings, or other issues, though there are some minor signs of use and plating wear. This horn is definitely worth restoring and will be a fantastic player once it's had a new set of pads put in.

This saxophone is not supplied with a mouthpiece but does come with a Hiscox Liteflite case in full working order.

This saxophone, along with our entire range of vintage saxophones and mouthpieces, is available in store.
