This is a 1928 Conn New Wonder alto saxophone, also known as a 'Chu Berry' in full working order. This horn has been relacquered and as a result the lacquer is in pretty good shape for a horn that's nearly 100 years old. It shows a few signs of use in terms of minor dings, light scratches, etc, but these are purely cosmetic. This horn is mechanically very sound and feels good under the fingers. It has an older set of pads but they are sealing well and have a lot of life left in them. This horn has all of the power and resonance you would expect from a vintage Conn.

 

This saxophone comes with a wooden case that has seen some miles but is in full working order.

 

Please note, this saxophone is not supplied with a mouthpiece.
