This is a 1916 Gibson A-1 mandolin in excellent playing condition. The body is in very good condition with no cracks or other damage. It has a lovely wide grain top with pumpkin orange colouring. The mandolin features a symmetrical teardrop body with oval sound hole. This is a prime example of a classic vintage Gibson mandolin. Mandolins like this don't come up every day and certainly not in this good of condition.
