Wolf Baroque Bassoon Model HKICW
Wolf Baroque Bassoon Model HKICW
This Wolf Baroque style Bassoon is a replica of of a 1700 instrument found in the collection of William Waterhouse in East Germany. This model is named after the inscription on that instrument HKICW. It is pitched at 415Hz, as was standard at the time.
The maker, Guntram Wolf specialises in period instruments and this is one of the most popular baroque bassoons available.
It is in excellent condition, but the metalwork has dulled from the shiny finish it would have once had. Includes 3 crooks and a carry bag.
We do not have a reed to test it with, but there are no cracks, very few cosmetic marks, and each section has been tested for leaks and all are air tight.
Available in store. If you have any questions regarding this instrument please feel free to message us or give us a call for more details.
