1983 Squier 'JV' Japanese Vintage Stratocaster.

These Japanese-made Squiers are prized for their rarity and excellent build quality.
Made by Fujigen-Gakki, these are said to be nigh point-for-point recreations of pre-CBS Fenders.

Alder or Basswood body. Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard (7.25" radius)
Pickups are three U.S.A-made Alnico V Single Coils.
