Squier 'JV' Japanese Vintage Stratocaster in Black

These rare and sought-after guitars are from a limited run of Squiers made in Japan in the 1980s.
They are known for their outstanding build quality and for being near point-for-point recreations of pre-CBS Fenders which now fetch exorbitant prices.
Legend has it that Fender ended the contract for these Japanese made Squiers as they were said to be better than the U.S.A made Fenders.

This one plays and sounds outstanding and the neck in particular definitely feels similar to a Pre-CBS vintage Fender. Delivers the unmistakeable iconic Strat tone.

There is some cosmetic wear and tear. Some slight check marks to the nitro finish on the front of the body. Full working order.
