Ibanez began with the iconic RG body shape, however with its longer scale neck some players found it a little too difficult for smaller hands. Ibanez has solved this with the RG MIKRO, the same shape with a new 22.2" scale, much smaller than the 25.5" on the larger model, this along with a pair of hot pickups makes this guitar ideal for younger players or those who struggle with larger models.
