Hofner Congress Hollow Body Archtop Jazz Guitar in Vintage Sunburst

Made in Germany sometime between 1964-1968
Serial number 14308.

Laminated Maple top, back and sides.
2 piece Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard.

25.5" scale length.

Hofner "Compensator" tailpiece.
Adjustable via truss rod unlike earlier models.

Very playable with an easy low action.
Lovely woody vintage Jazz tone.

Good condition overall, especially for a 60 year old instrument, but there is some cosmetic wear and tear- the odd little scratch or bump here and there. Most notable is a small hairline crack in the neck pocket where it appears the neck has pulled forward slightly (pictured).
