Framus J-278 Vintage 12-String Acoustic

Made in Bavaria, Germany in the late 1960s/70s

Has Mahogany back and sides and a Rosewood fretboard. Bolt-on neck appears to be a multi-ply construction of unknown wood.
Top appears to be a Spruce laminate.

Has a mid-focused, vintagey folk tone with good projection.
Plays well with a medium to low action. Good intonation across registers.

A cool rare guitar with tons of personality.

Great condition for a nearly 60 year old instrument.
