De Gregorio Kiyo 'Sweet Spot' Cajón - 51.CAJ06 inc. DVD
The Sweet Spot is loosely based on Paolo's 'Kiyo' model Cajón and is aimed at customers wanting a high-quality product at an affordable cost. The circular frontal design is based on a Crop Circle discovered in the UK in 2008, the position on the drum identifying the playing area for bass tones which can produce more appealing sonics, and the design itself employed in context to represent two disparate yet connected forces of Nature - rhythms of the Earth and the sculpted landscape.
The Sweet Spot employs a simplified pre-set snare system, and produces a great sound, sharp slap and powerful bass tones. The side panels are manufactured from 12mm, 9-ply Poplar plywood, the back panel is 6mm Poplar, 3-ply and the front playing panel is 3mm, 3-ply African Okumé wood.
The Cajón measures: 49cm x 29cm x 29cm.
